Step 3. Boot into the OS installer. When you reach the drive selection screen, delete all existing partitions on the target SSD, and then proceed with the installation.

How do I install an operating system (such as Windows 11 or Windows 10) on a PCIe NVMe SSD?

Windows 11, Windows 10, and modern Linux distributions include native support for PCIe NVMe drives and can be installed directly. How do I install a heatsink?

Can I use a SATA 6 Gb/s SSD with a motherboard that supports only SATA 1.5 or 3 Gb/s?
