1. Gen4 SSDs purchased on or after March 1, 2025, are covered by a 5-year warranty, as verified by the original proof of purchase.
2. If the original proof of purchase cannot be provided, AGI will determine the warranty eligibility based on the product’s serial number.
This warranty applies only to the AGI product itself (the “Product”) and does not cover accessories. “Accessories” are items not sold separately by AGI but bundled with the Product, including, without limitation, adapters, cables, card readers, software applications, and other bundled hardware/software.
Storage components within the Product (including but not limited to flash memory) are warranted only against hardware defects. Data stored on the Product is not covered. Customers should back up data regularly.
If, during repair, the original product encounters a shortage of parts, spare items, or is discontinued, an equivalent product of equal value (based on depreciation of the original item) will be provided as a replacement, or—upon the consumer’s consent—an upgraded product may be offered with an additional charge for the price difference.
This warranty does not apply under any of the following conditions, and AGI reserves the right to make the final determination on warranty eligibility:
1. Events of force majeure, natural disasters, accidents, or intentional damage by persons.
2. Abuse or misuse, including failure to follow product instructions, use beyond the Product’s intended purpose or design scope, or use for jigs/fixtures/molds or test purposes.
3. Any modification, disassembly, or component changes made without authorization.
4. Operation under abnormal mechanical or environmental conditions, such as prolonged exposure to humidity or abnormal temperatures, or improper installation in equipment that is incompatible with the Product’s design.
5. Operation under abnormal power conditions, such as undervoltage, overvoltage, unstable power supply, or prolonged charging of lithium batteries.
6. Issues arising from abnormal network connections or other factors that cause data‑access errors, data loss, or any related damage.
7. Damage to or tampering with the Product’s serial number, labels, or electronic identifiers; use of firmware not supplied by AGI; or any repair/modification not authorized by AGI.
8. Cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches on the Product or its packaging, dents, and similar conditions.
9. Physical damage or deformation of the Product, including dents, or any indication that the enclosure has been opened or altered.
10. Products obtained through marketing activities such as giveaways or public‑relations samples.
For external SSDs, memory cards, and USB flash drives used under the following scenarios and conditions, AGI reserves the right to make the final determination on warranty coverage:
‧ Video monitoring
‧ Security protection
‧ Surveillance systems
‧ IP cameras
‧ In-car recording
‧ Continuous recording set-top boxes
‧ Continuous data logging devices, such as servers
For internal SSDs, the warranty period is determined by whichever comes first between the limited warranty duration or the TBW (Total Bytes Written) limit.
